Leigton Moss- Feb 16th, Bearded Tit hunt!

This time only me and my Grandma set out to find a Bittern for the second time, but also were interested in finding a Bearded Tit and a Kingfisher.
First off we went to the Public hide (where I last saw the Bittern) hoping for another sighting, but on the way me and my Grandma were listening out for the high pitched pinging noise of a Bearded Tit, of which we were successful :)! As we walked into the hide we saw 2 Cormorants sat on a small Island on the middle of the land (adult and juvenile), this was the first Cormorant I had ever seen!
After that we walked back to the Lillian hide to find the Smew which had been sighted there early that day, but there was no look with that :(.
After that we set off to the Tim Jackson hide and on the way we saw a little mouse feeding off the birds food!
At the Tim Jackson hide we didn't see much except from a Golden Eye and some Red Deer, but still seeing them made me very happy.
We were both getting very cold so we set back off to have some hot chocolate and some cake, yum!
Still hoping to find that second Bittern!
