Windermere Aquarium!

Yet again we ventured out but again, not to Leighton Moss but to Windermere Aquarium!
As we arived at the aquarium, we spent ages trying to park! But this wouldn't stop us from having an awesome day out! As we paid the women to let us in, we had to lie about my age to get me in cheaper! ;) We walked up stairs and there was a pen and paper with questions on all about the Olypmic games, and there were questions on it such as what sport would salmon compete in, then on the container where all of the animals were the answers to the question. I got half way and then put it down to look at some awesome Pirahanas and left it there.. oops! :S Mine and my Grandma's main animal to see was the seahorse, but to get to the sea horse we had to pass through all of the other fasicanting animals, such as crocodiles, turtles etc. It took us ages to get to the sea horses due to our fasicnation in all the other animals, they were awesome! As we were passing through the under water tunnel(looking for a otter) a little duck poped it's head under and starting swimming under water, they looked soo cute! In that very tunnel there was also a very intellectual woman who worked there who told us all about the fish that live in Windermere lake! After talking to her we set off through the tunnel to the next bit andfound our sea horses! They were soo cute and small! I also found a fish that had the ability to change sex once in it's life time in the aquarium! Weird... :)
We had nearly finished our jounery through the aquarium and just as we were leaving we found this gianourmus flatfish/stringray, but it was so well camoflagued to the rocky surface in which it was on!
We had finished our visit to the aquarium now and just as we were walking out of the door, I got stopped and had to take part in a survey!  After that we set off to have some really nice cake and a drink just before we set off home! Brilliant day! :)

Not Leighton Moos, but Oasis!

Me and My Grandma wanted a changed from birds on this outing so we set off on a trip to Oasis animal park!
Firstly we went through the insect/reptile inclosure, we saw what had to be one of the biggest spiders ever! (the Goliath bird eating spider!) We also saw lots of other things ranging from insects to weird prehistoric water creatures(which Grandma found disgusting!)
After seeing all these we ventured outside and saw some little kangaroo things, I just wanted to pick one up!
We also saw many other things like a Snowy Tiger, some Pumas, the cutest marmosets in the world, etc! After seeing all these creatures, we went inside to enjoy our cake/drink! We were a bit late(the cafe had closed) but the kind man re-opened it just for us! :D As we were just about to leave Grandma bought me this awesome card! Overall, really good day! :)
