On this very cold winter day Me, my Sister and my Grandma took a trek up to the Griesdale hide at Layton Moss to try find the deficient Bittern. Unfortunately we didn't happen to find the Bittern, but as we were sitting there in our disappointment a gigantic flock of small birds came darting across our viewing point, everyone in the hide was wondering why this was; then not long after a Marsh Harrier came swooping in. We studied the Harrier for a long time and noticed it's friend was perched on a branch nearby. As I was thinking to myself that it couldn't get any better than that a Peregrine came darting towards us. At this point everyone's fingers were tapping the shoot button on their camera rapidly.Still no sighting or sound of the Bittern.
